Good news from Stockholm

Every year we go to the Stockholm Furniture Fair and Design Week in February. As usual the 2015 edition didn't fail to deliver in terms of new concepts, great re-editions and lovely use of colours and materials. The picture shows the exhibition by this year's guest of honour, the incredibly inspirational Ilse Crawford.

We have selected the most attractive new products as well as limited and anniversary editions for you.

60 years anniversary editions of Series 7

To celebrate its first 60 years of existence, Fritz Hansen has the best birthday gift: two gorgeous versions of the 3107 chair based on Arne Jacobsen’s original colour selection from 1968.

One edition has a dark blue lacquer shell and powder-coated burnished legs and the other edition is elegantly dressed in pale pink lacquer with 24-ct gold-plated legs.

You have to see them for yourselves. Right now they are posing in our shop window, but you can also have a closer look at them in our webshop. The two anniversary editions are available during 2015 only, at a price of currently CHF 597 (EUR 553) incl. 8% VAT a piece.

PH 3½-2½ copper table lamp

So many clients expressed their wish for a table version of last year’s limited edition of the PH 3½-2½ pendant. The wait has now ended!

The perfect match to last year’s pendant version is only available for purchase until June 15 this year at a price of CHF 1'560 incl. 8% VAT. The best part is, that you get two upper shades, one in opal glass and one in copper, with each light. This way, you can decide to switch whenever you feel like a change.

Lamino by Nudie Jeans

For its 70^th anniversary, Swedese asked Nudie Jeans to interpret their most sold chair, the Lamino armchair by its founder Yngve Ekström.

This resulted in three very cool editions of the iconic Lamino chair. The typical orange stitching of the Nudie Jeans’ selvage is translated into a layer of orange coloured veneer in the frame of untreated beech wood.

One edition comes with vegetable tanned leather by Tärnsjö Garveri and the remaining two with a dry, organic, Kaihara selvage option and a pre-washed, hand-treated selvage option made by Nudie Jeans’ washing experts at ITAC in Italy. Each version is intended to age beautifully, just as your pair of Nudie Jeans would.

Swedese will produce 100 pieces each of the three anniversary editions. The current price is CHF 2’700 (EUR 2’500) incl. 8% VAT for the selvage denim versions and CHF 3’430 (EUR 3’175) incl. 8% VAT for the Tärnsjö leather editions.

Since Swedese will donate EUR 50 to Amnesty International for every anniversary chair sold, you will also contribute to helping their work. We are expecting our chairs for the showroom mid-April. Libri in oak

This is a piece of news we have eagerly been waiting to hear: The Libri bookshelf is finally available in oak. It’s a beautiful addition to the already available white and black versions and works wonderfully together.

The current price for the oak version is the same as for the black and white ones: CHF 897 (EUR 831) incl. 8% VAT.

Kaari from Artek

Artek presented a perfectly matching series to last year’s beautiful and very comfortable Rival chair by Konstantin Grcic at this year's fair: Kaari tables and storage solutions by The Bouroullec brothers.

Both series are wonderful interpretations of the modern world of Artek.

Montana Sound 1-2-3

There are people, who are rather overwhelmed by the vast possibilities Montana offers, while many love just that.

For the ones who prefer a narrower choice, Montana introduces 3 modules, incorporating a fully-fledged sound system.
