What would that look like in my home?

From consultation to space planning

To help Luzia's client from our last newsletter imagine what our proposals might look like in her home, we asked our CAD specialist Cayleen to plan them into various floor plans.

"Cayleen, what happens in this process?"

"After importing the products in a floor plan, we sometimes realize, depending on the proposal, that additional furniture could be used to create an even more interesting room design. This time, for example, we added the Chamfer sideboard in one dining room and one living room to create a separation from the living room in the former and to provide even more storage in the latter. In addition, a slightly larger coffee table in one of the living rooms creates even more cosiness."

Dining room 1

The more quietly designed kitchen was fitted with a dividing element - Chamfer by Asplund. In this way, we create two distinct zones in the open space: a kitchen with a dining group and a living room without a view of the kitchen, while allowing the light to shine through the room.

Dining room 2

In dining room 2, it is the carpet together with the 80s chairs that defines the unexpected and somewhat younger style. Since the table and bench are rather monolithic and placed lengthwise in the room, the overall impression remains calm, and we do not have to install any separating elements between the kitchen and the living room. The solid sideboard with plenty of storage space balances the room.

Livingroom 1

In living room 1, a wall-mounted, light shelf runs along the entire wall in the background. The Calmo sofa from the sale is a little too small for this size room but still doesn't look lost if we create a group with the armchair and side table on the large rug.

Livingroom 2

Living room 2 focuses on cosiness thanks to a larger sofa. To give the seating group a little more weight, we added a coffee table from the exhibition, which is not in the sale but available anyway. The combination of a classic sideboard that functions as a bar and chairs in colours that pop creates a refreshing touch.
