Creating a homely atmosphere in the care environment

Task: Together with the architect Albi Nussbaumer, we developed the furnishings for the communal areas for the various departments of the Ennetsee care centre. Our aim was to design furniture and lighting that would not only create a homely atmosphere, but also support the delicate architecture of the centre.

Challenge: The aim was to find a solution that would meet the special requirements of a care centre. The furnishings had to work in the spacious public areas on the ground floor as well as in the light-flooded communal rooms of the residential groups and the special needs of the dementia department.

Result: Our furniture and lighting concepts contribute significantly to a homely and pleasant atmosphere and support the varied programme of events. They are designed to promote the quality of life of the residents in this care centre in the best possible way.
