THE RIGHT WAY TO CLEAN RATTAN
DAILY CARE
Use a damp, well-wrought out cloth for daily cleaning of rattan furniture. Wipe the entire surface evenly.
PERIODIC CARE
Rattan furniture should be cleaned once or twice a year using a soap lye of 0,4 dl white soap flakes in five litres of lukewarm water. Wash the weave on both sides. You could also use a spray bottle. Use a sponge or a cloth and wipe off with a dry cloth to dry.
Attention!
- Never use cleaning aids which were meant for metal, like for example scouring pads, on rattan.
- If dried out, rattan will easily break. Hence, it must be kept soft and flexible with soap lye.
