Nordic Talk - Sustainability: high quality, low footprint

In today's world, sustainability is no longer just a buzzword, but a fundamental necessity. In this issue of our Nordic Talks we shed light on how responsible design and long-lasting quality go hand in hand.

For us, sustainability is not a sacrifice, but a luxury that combines style, responsibility and personal identity.

Sustainable - with style

F: How do you define sustainability in your work?

A: For us, sustainability means investing in quality - furniture and objects that last for decades, materials that only get better with time and designs that don't look old after a few years.

It's not enough to adorn yourself with pretty labels, you need real commitment: from the selection of suppliers to production and furniture care. We are a reliable filter for our customers - helping them to make beautiful and responsible decisions without being overwhelmed by the abundance of options. We also provide our customers with long-term support and ensure that beautiful pieces stay beautiful.

Quality in production and design

F: Is longevity the core of sustainable design?

A: Sustainability is not measured in annual cycles. Design and materials must function for decades, tell stories and gain character over time.

One of the well-known quotes on this subject comes from Sven Lundh, the founder of the Swedish label Källemo: «It has to stand up to scrutiny - even after years.» This is why furniture must serve the user - both in terms of function and form.

Luxury is substance

F: How do you make sustainability attractive and luxurious?

A: For us, sustainability is luxury with substance: a product that is not only beautiful, but also responsibly produced. This includes our close cooperation with suppliers and a careful selection that guarantees quality.

Showing substance is self-respect

F: Is sustainability also a question of self-respect?

A: Sustainability also thrives on emotional attachment. A piece of furniture that tells a story, that you love and cherish, remains part of your life for much longer. A room that works and reflects your personality will not be replaced because it is suddenly „out“. That is sustainability with soul - and that is luxury. Because it takes courage not to follow every short-term trend, but to make conscious and self-determined choices.

Choosing sustainable quality also means taking yourself and your values seriously - that an action also has consequences.

The elegant way to style and substance

For us, sustainability means more than just acting in an environmentally conscious manner - it is an attitude that combines quality, responsibility and personality. Our experience shows: Those who focus on, care for and love genuine quality create a home that is not only stylish, but also sustainable.

Sustainability is not a sacrifice, but the luxurious way to real style.
