PP Møbler. A Danish furniture workshop that has been combining craftsmanship, an understanding of materials, and uncompromising quality at the highest level since 1953.
Danish craftsmanship that sets the standard.
PP Møbler embodies one of the most consistent expressions of Danish craftsmanship. Founded in 1953 in Allerød, the workshop is now run by the third generation of the family and is inextricably linked to Hans J. Wegner. This is where some of his most sophisticated designs are created, including the PP501 The Chair, the PP19 Papa Bear Chair, and the PP225 Flag Halyard Chair. Each piece of furniture is crafted with a precision that goes far beyond industrial production.
At the heart of it all is a love of wood. PP Møbler is committed to ensuring that a piece of furniture lasts at least as long as the tree from which it was made took to grow—often 150 years or more. Each log is carefully selected, stored, and processed. The grain, density, and fiber direction determine the design—not the other way around.
This attention to detail is evident even in places where it is hardly noticeable later on. Even hidden joints, upholstery, and coverings are crafted with the same care—not because they are visible, but because they are an integral part of the piece’s integrity.
We carry PP Møbler because it sets the standard: for Danish design, authentic craftsmanship, and quality that stands up to the test of time.
