Since 1911, this family-run company has been known for furniture that isn’t shaped by the spirit of the times, but rather by a precise understanding of function, materials, and durability. The brand is particularly closely associated with Børge Mogensen, whose functional, humanistic philosophy continues to shape the core of Fredericia to this day.
The portfolio ranges from early, visionary designs such as the modular shelving system by Mogens Koch from 1928 to classics by Børge Mogensen, including the Spanish Chair, as well as works by Nanna Ditzel, Hans J. Wegner, Jasper Morrison, and other international designers. Many Fredericia pieces have been in production for decades with virtually no changes—a testament to their structural clarity and design relevance.
