She has created products ranging from vases to lamps and tables and every time left us with a product bearing her characteristic sense for shape and detail. And now, Fritz Hansen introduces an exquisite dining table by Cecilie Manz: Essay. What distinguishes Essay is its solid yet light design. Essay comes in four different sizes to match the sizes and lifestyles of a variety of households. Each table can also be expanded with black linoleum leaves, ensuring there is enough room to simply push the laptop, toys, newspapers and schoolbooks to one side when it’s time to eat. Made of one hundred percent solid wood and without a frame, Essay will last a lifetime, representing the ultimate form of sustainability.
