We currently devote our shopwindow to the popular Corona Chair by Poul M. Volther. Its light and elegant shape fits any location, whether as an eye catcher by the entrance or combined with a sofa and a coffee table in the living room. Corona was designed in 1961 inspired by the shape of the sun as it goes through a solar eclipse. It is a rare combination of organic expression and technical streamlining. The four upholstered shells give maximum support for the body and at the same time the chair seems to be almost transparent and effortlessly blends in with the room. This timeless piece is still manufactured by Erik Jørgensen in Denmark. Prices start at CHF 5287.

Einen schönen Platz in unserem Schaufenster hat zur Zeit der Sessel Corona von Poul M. Volther. Die leichte und elegante Form passt sich in jede Wohnsituation perfekt ein - als Blickfang und Einzelstück im Eingangsbereich oder in Kombination zu Couch und Couchtisch im Wohnzimmer. Dieser Sessel wurde 1961 entworfen und soll an die sichtbaren Formen der Sonne im Verlauf einer Sonnenfinsternis erinnern. Die vier Sitzpolster sind in einer elliptischen Form ausgebildet und der Rahmen, an dem sie befestigt sind, ist aus verchromtem Federstahl. Flindt Lamp by Christian Flindt

Louis Poulsen’s newest addition is the Flindt collection. This superb series provides both direct light for reading as well as diffuse light, which is distributed through the opal cords that make out the shape of the lamp. Consequently, the quality of light is soft and the lamp appears as a radiant cylinder in the room. Flindt owes its name to its creator, the Dane Christian Flindt and is available in a dimmable floor version as well as in two different pendant versions. Prices start at CHF 545.

Das Neuste aus dem Hause Louis Poulsen ist die Flindt Kollektion. Diese Leuchten spenden überwiegend direktes, nach unten gerichtetes Licht, die opalen Saiten verhindern eine Blendung durch das Leuchtmittel. Sie erscheinen wie ein leuchtender Zylinder, geben diffuses weiches Licht in den Raum ab und vermitteln somit ein Gefühl von Höhe und Leichtigkeit. Sie wurde vom Dänen Christian Flindt entworfen und ist neben der bei uns ausgestellten Stehleuchte auch als Pendelleuchte in zwei Grössen erhältlich. Preise ab CHF 545.

Arc Table by Claesson Koivisto Rune

A favourite is back in our exhibition: the Arc Table, designed in 2000 by Claesson Koivisto Rune. Their aim was to create a table with two proportions – very slim when viewed from above, and a more solid appearance from another angle. The arched shape is very significant for this table, hence its name. Every corner is made by hand and all fittings are individually mounted. It comes either as a coffee table or as a dining table or desk. It is produced in three finishes: natural oak, white stained oak and dark oak. Prices start at CHF 2248.

Zurück in unserer Ausstellung ist der beliebte Tisch Arc von Asplund. Dieser wurde 2000 von Claesson Koivisto Rune designt. Ihr Ziel war es, einen Tisch zu entwickeln, der zwei unterschiedliche Erscheinungen hat – schmal wirkend, wenn er von oben betrachtet wird, von anderen Blickwinkeln hat er eine stabile Erscheinung. Die gewölbte Form ist sehr signifikant und charakteristisch für diesen Tisch. Jede Ecke und jedes Ende sind handgefertigt und individuell eingepasst. Dieser Tisch ist als tiefer Couchtisch oder in Esstischhöhe erhältlich, und man kann zwischen drei Ausführungen wählen: Eiche natur, Eiche weiss gebeizt oder Eiche dunkel gebeizt. Preise ab CHF 2248.

Summer Sale

On Saturday August 30th 2008, from 10 am to 5 pm, it is time for holm°s first big clearance sale. Display furniture, lamps and accessories will be on sale at very attractive prices. The sale will take place on this date only, so make sure to mark your agendas accordingly!
If you can’t manage to stop by at our sale for a sofa to go, you can, of course, order one now for delivery after the summer holidays. Like this, the normal delivery time will pass by quickly and you will have something to look forward to, once you return from your well-deserved summer vacation!
Once more, the whole holm°team will take off towards the North this summer, so the shop will therefore stay closed from July 28th until August 10th. We wish you a pleasant summer and look forward to welcoming you holm°!

Am Samstag, den 30. August 2008, von 10 bis 17 Uhr, findet der erste grössere Lagerverkauf bei uns im Laden statt. Verschiedene Ausstellungsmöbel werden zu teils stark reduzierten Preisen erhältlich sein, ebenso diverse Accessoires und Leuchten. Dieser Lagerverkauf findet ausschliesslich an diesem Tag statt, also Datum vormerken und reinschauen!
Noch ein kleiner Tipp zur Überbrückung der üblichen Lieferzeiten: Bestellen Sie die Möbel, bevor Sie in den Urlaub fahren, dann haben Sie bei ihrer Rückkehr etwas Schönes, auf das Sie sich freuen können.
Das ganze holm°Team zieht’s auch diesen Sommer wieder nordwärts und so bleibt der Laden vom 28. Juli bis 10. August geschlossen.
