Poul Kjærholm is one of the great designers of the last century. During his relatively short life, he created pieces that quickly became collectors' items. His most famous piece is maybe the lounge chair PK22 in steel and leather or wicker.

Poul Kjærholm's collection is the most exclusive in Fritz Hansen's portfolio and is manufactured by hand by a small team in Denmark. This summer, the renowned Danish museum Louisiana features the first complete retrospective of Poul Kjærholm. To celebrate this, Fritz Hansen launches a special edition of three of his pieces. For the first time, the PK22 is available in canvas in three colours, the PK25 in black halyard and the PK91 in black canvas. These editions cost CHF 2’242, CHF 8’774 and CHF 2’484 respectively and can be ordered at holm°.

Poul Kjærholm zählt zu den ganz grossen Designern des 20. Jahrhunderts. In seinem relativ kurzen Leben entwarf der Däne Möbel, die heute Liebhaberstücke begeisterter Sammler sind. Seine vielleicht bekannteste Kreation ist der Sessel PK22 aus Stahl mit Leder oder Peddigrohr.

Poul Kjærholms Möbel bilden den exklusivsten Teil der Kollektion des renommierten Produzenten Fritz Hansen und wird von einem kleinen Team komplett vom Hand in Dänemark hergestellt. Diesen Sommer präsentiert das wunderschöne dänische Museum of Modern Art 'Louisiana' die erste vollständige Retrospektive der Werke Poul Kjærholms. Aus diesem Grund stellt Fritz Hansen während einer beschränkten Zeit drei seiner Möbel in Spezialausführungen her. Den PK22 gibt’s zum ersten Mal in Segeltuch in drei Farben, den PK25-Sessel zum ersten Mal in schwarzer Flaggenleine und den PK91-Falthocker neu in schwarzem Segeltuch. Die drei Spezialausführungen kosten CHF 2’242, CHF 8’774, bzw. CHF 2’48 und sind bei holm° zu bestellen.

Montana was founded by Peter J. Lassen in 1982. After working at the Fritz Hansen company for many years, Lassen felt the urge to take on new challenges. His collaborative efforts with the architects Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton, Jørn Utzon and Piet Hein had honed Lassen’s sense of shapes, colours, function and architecture. He manifested this capacity in a refreshingly different, innovative idea now known as Montana.

A storage system to begin with, Montana now gives you an answer to almost all needs in any room, at home, in the office or in a shop. An astonishing colour palette of lacquers and wood veneers makes sure that Montana fits into any space. Due to the fact that the modules can be constructed in new formations again and again, you have a piece of furniture that will always match your needs.

Montana wurde 1982 von Peter J. Lassen gegründet. Nach jahrelanger Tätigkeit bei Fritz Hansen suchte er neue Herausforderungen. Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit den Architekten Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton, Jørn Utzon und Piet Hein hatte Peter Lassen seinen Sinn für Form, Farbe, Funktion und Architektur geschärft. Dies schlug sich in der erfrischenden, innovativen Idee nieder, die heute als Montana bekannt ist.

Im Kern ein Aufbewahrungssystem, hat Montana eine Antwort auf fast allen Bedürfnisse in jedem Zimmer, zu Hause, im Büro, im Laden etc., mit einer riesigen Palette an Lackfarben und Holzfurnieren für jeden Geschmack. Durch die Möglichkeit, Elemente immer wieder in neuen Kombinationen aufzubauen, werden Montana-Möbel auch sich ändernden Bedürfnissen gerecht.
